Why did kochcurries begin?
kochcurries arose from its
creator, Jeremy Koch, noticing a few key qualities about the
ever changing eating and living habits of those living in
Metropolitan Sydney…
- The modern Australian has become “addicted to spice” and
has developed a real taste for curries.
- Sydneysiders are only willing to accept authentic curries
using only the finest and freshest ingredients.
- With long working hours and a preference to spend any
free time enjoying themselves, Sydneysiders are looking
for convenient eating solutions whilst maintaining quality
and authenticity.
And so arose the Frozen
Curry Concept…
What experience do we have in making authentic curries?
Jeremy Koch started the business under the guidance
of his mother Tammy Koch. Tammy a Dutch/Sri-Lankan has lived
in Australia since 1965 and is a renowned caterer and food
consultant. She has been giving cooking classes for 20 years
and has been instrumental in expanding the tastes and cooking
horizons of so many Sydneysiders.
How is business?
- Exciting! kochcurries
has become a huge success.
- Customer retention and reordering rates are as high as
90%.
- Customers generally order in bulk and stack the freezer
monthly.
- Having a kochcurries
party at home has become extremely popular.
- Customers are happy with the huge price discounts made
available as a result of cutting out the shops and delivering
straight to homes.
- kochcurries received
a great kick start early on when Alan
Jones gave the business a 90 second plug on his
morning radio program. Mr Jones had tried them at a dinner
party and so decided to use kochcurries
for his own dinner party. The following Monday he proceeded
to give a free, unsolicited 90 second comment on the business.
